Similar Immersion

Similar Immersion – By: Erickson

Rainbows on the tint of glasses.

Shine and twist – Icicles

bombard the student’s light.

Learning the book’s story.

Used to think myself the sculpture,

Apprentices weren’t I.

Yet, before that second –

V.R. headset – Earth creates life.

The stuff of history.

A common truce in war.

The moment one sees hands,

capable to deter –

Big Bang is upon us –

Random waking moments.

Inspiration festers –

On brittle edges of glass panes.

After storms, I smell grass –

A hike, thighs recover.

The mountain is near – dear,

You won’t dare believe the summit.

Rocks, a painter’s wet dream.

Feet brace queer peaks of snow.

But success was never granted,

To persons too afraid to go.
