Illuminated Fuse

Illuminated Fuse – By: Erickson

I swear I’ve gotten over it.

This pounding in my head.

My heart craves the wisdoms

I dispel with others in bed.

But I’ve gotten over parents –

Bigger than giants

More brutal than the Gods.

And what about ghosts of friends, loved ones?

A clear reset – craved –

amongst an endless water cycle.

Suffocating waterfalls.

Turning style – bicycle.

I tend to blow it up,

Love within the chest.

Heat enflares an endless body.

Fuses head to never rest.

Hours churn – her image passes.

Like we, soon to grave.

Attempts to live, to love,

A pebble to be brave.
